I've recently had the privilege to work with an organization which I think will make a huge impact on many young adults. I love the work that I do and I really enjoy the different websites I get to work with. But once in a while something comes a long that is more than just business. A website which serves a higher purpose than simply making money and generating more business.

MyTinCup.com is a website with a very altruistic mission :

...During my work with students, I have found the single most important concern of the students I work with is their student loan debt and their survival once repayment begins.

This website was developed in response to the question, "how can I help?"

The ultimate goal of the Tin Cup Student Loan Relief Fund is to become a non-profit organization helping thousands of students and graduates to help repay student loans...

Many people who go to College are left with a huge amount of debt. This can cut into a students ability to save for retirement or even save period. There are countless articles to be read as well as personal experiences shedding light on this growing problem. I was really excited when this project came to me and was happy to help.

First of all, I'm not a very big fan of money. It has the power to turn people into horrible individuals and it causes problems and strain on almost everyone. It's a shame, but the way our societies are geared... he with the most money often fairs best. I've always sympathized with people trying to work out college expenses because it is becoming increasingly difficult to acquire a job / career that pays enough and is fulfilling enough without some degree of extra schooling / higher education. This presents large problems for anyone who can't afford it or those who go into debt trying to afford it.

If you are a College Graduate or Student, please sign up. This is a free service which allows those with debt acquired from college expenses to create a Profile, Blog, About Me page, and more. Everyone receives a free donation page which automatically hooks up to your Paypal account so anyone stopping by can donate. It's a great service that I think many can benefit from.

I'm surprised that more people haven't created accounts on mytincup. It's a great idea. More people need to know how truely broken and corrupt our student loan system has become.

In 1979, when I was beginning college, the prime interest rate was 11.5 percent and student loans were at 3.4 percent — or 70 percent below prime. Now, the prime rate is 5.25 percent yet student loans are 8.5 percent (and adjustable) — or 57 percent above prime. What is going on?

Student loan consolidation rebates are usually given by a private company when student loans are consolidated equaling more than $20,000. The more student loans consolidation, the higher the student loan consolidation rebate.
